Pastoral Resource Program

Did you know there are over two million
pastors in the world who have limited biblical or pastoral training?
Most of these pastors
live in countries with weaker economies and never have the opportunity to
attend seminary or bible college. Most serve churches in their home villages
but have no resources that people in the United States and other western
countries take for granted.
These pastors probably
own their Bibles and perhaps a song book in their native dialect. They do
not have access to theological libraries, reference tools like commentaries,
or the Internet. Many do not even have electricity in their homes or
churches.
Neil Curran, author of
Exploring the Basics of Biblical Christianity,
has helped train English speaking pastors in rural Africa. This book may be
one of the few reference tools pastors in some of these villages ever
receive.
Biblical Communications
has made it possible for thousands of these pastors to receive their own
copies of Exploring the Basics of Biblical Christianity free of
charge. Organizations such as ALARM
(African Leadership And Reconciliation Ministries),
RREACH (Ramesh Richard Evangelism And
Church Helps) International and
TOPIC (Trainers of Pastors
International Coalition) do magnificent work in conducting pastoral training
seminars where experienced pastors from the United States are invited to
teach and train. Neil Curran’s book is among the books presented to
native pastors.
Biblical Communications
provides copies of Exploring the Basics of Biblical Christianity at a
special rate for those individuals or organizations desiring to help.
